Over the last three decades, Barbara Derrick has passionately engaged with educational leaders and decision-makers from various colleges, serving as an art educator at the collegiate level. During her eleven-year tenure, she successfully trained 200 students, guiding them to achieve their certification as Art Instructors. With a keen business acumen, Barbara also secured significant art commissions, including a project for BC Telus Communications to design a vehicle wrap for their fleet and a building banner. Her artistic vision gained notable recognition when her painting, "Her Gift," was featured on the front cover of Terringula Magazine's Volume 9 Double Issue in 2020. Additionally, she has facilitated team-building workshops for corporations, enhancing group dynamics through creative collaboration.
