Your dream has power. It can inspire you. It can empower you. But will it reward you? In this course to reaching your dreams, Dr. John C. Maxwell shows you how to do the things needed to make your dream come true. Most people fail to realize their potential because their dream remains hypothetical. Put Your Dream to the Test takes your dream from ethereal to achievable. Maxwell shows you how to crystallize your vision and galvanize your commitment by instructing you how to answer ‘yes’ to questions like:

  • Is my dream really my dream?
  • Am I depending on factors in my control to achieve my dream?
  • Do I have a strategy to achieve my dream?
  • Have I included the people I need to realize my dream?
  • Am I willing to pay the price for my dream?
  • Does my dream benefit others?

You can make a difference! Believe it or not, the most effective way to make an impact on the world is to make an impact on individual people. How do you do that? Through influence. In How to Influence People, leadership guru John C. Maxwell and his friend Jim Dornan tell you how to make a positive impact on every person in your life, from your children and coworkers to your customers and the barista at the coffee shop.

Mastermind Book Study

In Everyone Communicates, Few Connect John C. Maxwell reveals how to identify with people and relate to others in a way that increases your influence with them. As a leader, it’s not enough just to work hard. It’s not enough to do a great job. To be successful, you need to learn how to communicate in a way that connects with others. In this book, John masterfully underscores principles and practices to equip you to communicate at a level that runs far deeper than words.

Those who register develop the ability to work with people. People are inspired by and desire to be like great leaders yet become overwhelmed by the perceived knowledge needed to learn the skill of leadership. You can become a real success by relating to others better, equipping others with the proper skill sets, improving your attitude through daily practices and leading others where you have gone and beyond.

This is an interactive course that is presented as a field test for course development work.

Thirteen stories by Canadian First Nation, Metis and Inuit Women

Through the author Barbara Derrick's exploration of her Chapter 3 "Muskwa Walks" a true definition of empowerment comes to life. Find your story here amidst other writers.

To First Nation people the Medicine Wheel represents harmony and connection to all living things. The original Medicine Wheel can best be described as 28 stone cairns placed in a circular fashion. Stones travel out of the central core of the rock and its surround circle. Alberta and British Columbia, have two-thirds of all known Medicine Wheels (47) out of (70) which suggests that Southern Alberta was a central meeting place for many Plains First Nations tribes who followed the Medicine Wheel ceremonies. One of the prototypical medicine wheels is in Big Horn Country, Wyoming. Within this foundational course structure you will recognize and identify how the relationships of the four quadrants relate to you, your family, your community and the world.

The course will provide you with various techniques in communication, problem solving, presenting art as a business model or strategies using business coveted attributes to attract marketers to your small business.
